Location was extremely quiet, a 10-15 minute walk from a waterside public plaza. The ambience was quiet! Amazing service, I was offered ironing and laundry without additional cost. Staff were exceptionally helpful and affable, and I loved the host.

What a fantastic New Year's stay! Hands-free check-in and keyless access made everything so convenient. The location was unbeatable, with breathtaking views of the river and stunning sunsets. And the recently restored building and apartments were like new, with beautiful finishes. The large terrace was definitely the icing on the cake, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The neighborhood felt like a cozy village in the center of the city, giving us the best of both worlds. And to top it off, waking up to the sound of birdsong every morning was absolutely enchanting. Highly recommended!
The uphill walk every day, which could be challenging for those with mobility issues. Taxis were only available if booked through the hotel, and they couldn't access the area, so even if you took a taxi back, you still had to make the uphill trek.

Limited Housekeeping: The only downside was the limited housekeeping service during my stay.

The rooms at Hermitage Castelo - Casa Saint Jorge are so cozy and comfortable. I loved the seating area with the soft sofa, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring Lisbon. Plus, having a kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave was super convenient for making quick meals.
I personally found the electric kettle in the apartment a bit unnecessary, but others might still appreciate having it for their hot drinks.
